Why folding bikes?

Why you should buy a folding bike in Montreal?

The summer is coming closer and closer, and gas price is again increasing. In 2009, people are more sensitive toward saving money and being ecological. The folding bike is the best solution for those who come to work in downtown, who enjoy commuting with bicycles, who like to travel...and more. Let me list up some of the advantages of having a folding bike.

Commuting:
- you can park your car a bit outside of the downtown and take your folding bike to come to work. You become healthier and save parking fee at the same time.
- you can fold and bring it to your office. The folding bike is relatively light (12Kg) so you can take it with you until your cubicle. no more worry about thief!!!
- it just cool.

Travel:
- you can take it with you in the car, plane, and bus. Put the bike in a carrying bag and you are ready to go!!!. Aluminum bikes are easy to carry (12 kg).
- you get to see the city more and faster. Imagine you go to New York with your folding bike. You can be just like a local forks and explore the city.
- You can enjoy the city. Not like the mountain bikes, the folding bike keeps your posture straight, keeping you a relaxed posture and more time to enjoy the environment.

Storage:
- I live in Plato and my apartment has no space:(. Just fold your bike and put it in your closet or in a car trunk. normally, you can put two 20 inch folding bikes in a sedan. You can travel your lover with your folding bike. Whenever and wherever.
- Montreal winter is long, and cold. No one wants to leave the bike outside, knowing by the coming spring my bike will be completely broken (Snow removing vehicle in the winter is the bike killer). Fold the bike and Put in your apartment. It is normally smaller or same size as 80 cm X 64 cm X 36 cm. Not that bad for a bicycle.

So I just listed couple of them but surely you can find your own advantages of having a folding bike in Montreal or everywhere. Put your comment about how much you like your folding bike.
